Each session focuses on building essential life skills, boosting self-esteem, and promoting personal and professional growth. From career development to motivation and wellness, our programs empower women with the tools and confidence they need to thrive in every aspect of their lives.

Self-Sufficiency COACHING

Our self-sufficiency coaching sessions are designed to help displaced and deported women build stable, healthy, and empowered lives. Through personalized guidance, we offer support in key areas such as career development, wellness, and mental health strategies. We also work to raise community awareness around the unique challenges these women face. Our goal is to equip them with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to make informed, sustainable choices that enhance their overall quality of life.

Community ENGAGMENT

We are committed to raising awareness about the unique challenges faced by displaced and deported women. Through workshops, cultural events, and collaborative efforts with local organizations, we encourage understanding, dialogue, and solidarity within the community. Our programs create safe and supportive spaces where women can share their stories, access resources, and receive the encouragement and guidance needed to reclaim their rights and rebuild their lives with dignity.

Our Misssion & Values

Our mission is to to assist deported women and their families by giving them opportunities to strive and become resilient & self-sufficient

Our mission is to assist deported women and their families by giving them opportunities to strive and become resilient and self-sufficient. Each year, hundreds of thousands of women are displaced, and hundreds are deported to Jamaica from countries all over the world. Unfortunately, many of these women lack much assistance and guidance in navigating their displacement and deportation, which creates situations of homelessness and abuse. Many of these women also have family members and loved ones who are affected by their displacement and deportation. The DMF aims to play an important role in the lives of these women and their families who are impacted by deportation by informing them, providing programs that offer assistance to promote re-matriculation, and fostering an environment that encourages resilience and self-sufficiency.
